I'm Caroline, a Swedish-born screenwriter and author based in Vienna.

I studied at the National Film and Television School in England, where I wrote The Confession, which went on to win a Student Academy Award and receive an Oscar nomination. My work spans film, television, theatre and fiction, with screenwriting credits including The Physician II and the upcoming Frankie.

I also spent five years working on the dream project of my life, only for unforeseen circumstances to halt the production just as filming was about to begin. I know the frustrations, the grief, and the extraordinary patience this work can ask of us. I know what it takes to return to the page when things haven't gone as you hoped.

What keeps me writing is a fascination with people: what we long for, what we hide, and what finally gives us the courage to change. I love finding the place in a story where a character's deepest need becomes the thing that sets everything in motion.

Through individual mentoring and a growing collection of recorded lessons and downloadable worksheets, I share the craft I use in my own writing. We can work together on finding your story's emotional heart, bringing its characters to life, and building the tension that makes an audience need to know what happens next.
